Description

At SOX-AI, we’re building LLM-powered software to automate financial compliance for large enterprises. We’re growing our R&D team in Munich and looking for a full-time Software Engineer to join us. We’re developing AI systems that enterprises can trust: reliable, explainable, and designed for real-world financial compliance. Our platform is already deployed at NASDAQ-listed companies, and we’re now expanding our engineering team. You’ll join a small, highly technical team with deep research and industry experience, building ambitious solutions from our Munich office. We’re looking for someone who: • Has strong Python and software engineering skills, with judgment about code quality, design, testing, and technical trade-offs. • Has an excellent academic background, with an MSc or Ph.D. in Computer Science (or a closely related field). • Enjoys writing high-quality software. • Thinks deeply about problems before implementing them and can independently reason about the right solution. • Thrives in a small, fast-moving startup where everyone has a significant impact. A team player and fun to work with. • Has excellent communication skills in English. German is a plus, but not required. • Has the right to work in Germany. The following would be an advantage: • Experience developing production backend systems. • Experience working with LLM-based applications.
