We’re looking for a talented App Developer to help us design, build and enhance a high-quality, accessible and reliable mobile experience.
The role offers hybrid working from our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire.

What you’ll be doing:
Developing, testing and maintaining features within the Pets at Home mobile app using React NativeDelivering high-quality, scalable solutions aligned to engineering best practiceCollaborating closely with Product, Design, QA and Engineering teams in an agile environmentOwning performance and contributing to improving app speed, reliability and usabilityWriting and maintaining unit and end-to-end tests to ensure robust, high-quality releasesChampioning accessibility standards and inclusive designContributing to code reviews and continuous improvement of tools, processes and ways of working
What we’re looking for:
Experience in mobile developmentStrong skills in React Native, TypeScript, Redux, React Navigation and FirebaseExperience with testing frameworks (e.g.
Jest, React Testing Library, Maestro)Solid understanding of mobile development principles (state management, APIs, performance)A collaborative mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skillsPassion for clean code, quality and continuous learning in a fast-paced agile environment
