About The Role We are seeking a skilled .NET Backend Developer (m/w/d) to join our team at the Gronau Head Office. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that support our innovative retail solutions and digital platforms. Your contributions will directly impact the functionality and performance of our hybrid showroom, dealer app, and other digital services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a proactive mindset, and a desire to contribute to the growth and modernization of our digital infrastructure. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should possess a relevant qualification in computer science, software development, or a related field, along with professional experience in backend development. Proven expertise in C#, .NET Core, and SQL is essential. Familiarity with frameworks such as SignalR and experience with version control systems like Git are highly desirable. Candidates with knowledge of agile development methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban will have an advantage. Additionally, a strong enthusiasm for innovation, emerging technologies, and continuous learning is important. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are also key attributes for this role. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain existing backend systems, including our hybrid showroom and dealer application.Implement high-performance web APIs using C# to support various digital services.Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to best practices.Optimize and enhance existing codebases for improved performance and scalability.Manage and maintain database structures, ensuring data integrity and security.Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless digital solutions.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate innovative technologies into our systems.Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
