Description

Context & Project You will join an ambitious 10-person engineering team based in Amsterdam, working on an internal AI platform that powers a wide ecosystem of digital products. This platform sits at the core of multiple business units and enables scalable, AI-driven product development across markets. The team is entering a new phase, building foundational infrastructure to support advanced AI capabilities. Your role will focus on designing and delivering Model Context Protocol (MCP) server infrastructure and integrating multiple LLM providers into production systems. Responsibilities Design and build MCP server infrastructure from scratchIntegrate multiple AI/LLM providers into scalable backend servicesTake ownership of backend architecture and system reliabilityBuild and maintain cloud-native services (AWS) at scaleDevelop and optimise CI/CD pipelines and test infrastructureCollaborate cross-functionally with product and platform teamsDrive improvements in deployment speed and service reliabilityApply system-level thinking to scalability, performance, and resilienceRequired Skills Strong experience in Go (Golang) for backend developmentProven experience building and running production-grade backend systemsHands-on AWS experience (design, deployment, operations)Experience with MCP or similar protocol-based AI integrationsExperience integrating multiple LLM providers into productionStrong knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing (unit, integration, E2E)Experience in fast-paced or startup environmentsSystems-thinking mindset with a focus on reliability and scalabilityExperience using AI coding tools (e.g. Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code)Nice to Have Experience with event-driven or event-sourced architecturePython experienceExperience working with generative AI infrastructureProject Details Location: Amsterdam (hybrid/on-site depending on setup)Team: Agile engineering team (10 engineers)Focus: Greenfield AI infrastructure buildImpact: Platform used across multiple products and markets Let op: vacaturefraude Helaas komt vacaturefraude steeds vaker voor.
