Overview of the role The WordPress Developer will be responsible for designing custom themes, plugins, and integrations to deliver high-quality web solutions. This role involves transforming WordPress from a blogging tool into a robust enterprise CMS, ensuring scalability and performance for complex business applications. Key responsibilities - Designing and developing custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch using PHP. - Implementing and customizing WooCommerce to build scalable e-commerce solutions. - Creating rich, interactive content layouts utilizing the Gutenberg block editor. - Integrating WordPress with third-party APIs and enterprise systems to extend core functionality. - Optimizing website performance, security, and SEO best practices across all development stages. - Maintaining and troubleshooting existing WordPress installations to ensure maximum uptime and reliability. Requirements - WordPress Development: 4+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress Development or Web Engineering. - Themes and Plugins: Proven expertise developing custom solutions from scratch. - PHP and Gutenberg: Proficiency in PHP and building custom blocks with the Gutenberg editor. - E-commerce: Hands-on experience implementing solutions using WooCommerce. - Enterprise CMS: Deep understanding of extending WordPress for enterprise applications. - Language Proficiency: Advanced level of English.
