Employment Type: Full-time/Contract Java Developer – Cloud & Microservices Job Description: We are seeking a hands-on Java Developer experienced in Spring Boot, AWS, microservices and Docker. The role involves modernising legacy applications, developing integrations and delivering scalable cloud-based solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop Java/Spring Boot applications and RESTful APIs.Support legacy Java-to-Spring Boot migrations.Design and implement microservices and system integrations.Build and maintain AWS-based CI/CD pipelines.Deploy applications using EKS, ECS and EC2.Create and manage Docker containers.Write automated tests, troubleshoot production issues and participate in code reviews.Use AI tools responsibly for coding, testing, debugging, documentation and migration analysis. Required Experience: Strong Java and Spring Boot development experience.Knowledge of REST APIs, integrations and microservices design patterns.Hands-on AWS experience, including CI/CD.Understanding of EKS, ECS and EC2 and when to use each.Practical Docker and Kubernetes experience.Familiarity with messaging tools such as Kafka, RabbitMQ or SQS is desirable.
