What You’ll Do
Work with the IT Infrastructure, InfoSec, Software Development, and QA teams to enable efficient and secure development, testing, and release of software productsBuild and maintain automated pipelines for code integration, testing, and deploymentWork with senior level DevOps Engineers to define, document, and enforce adherence to Policies and Procedures that govern DevOps operationsImplement logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting using application and pipeline monitoring toolsReview, verify, and validate hosted systems software releases to ensure they adhere to DevOps and InfoSec processesDocument all information flow of all hosted systemsDevelop automation for deployments, configuration, and operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or PythonAnalyze and recommend steps to ensure the protection of the company’s source code per company configuration standardsAnalyze, document, and implement the software release process of all hosted systemsWork with the Infrastructure team to troubleshoot all hosted systems in post-production operational state ensuring that all post-production outages and incidents are documented and handled according to corporate processesMonitor post-production hosted systems to ensure efficient performance per corporate defined KPIsWork closely with the InfoSec team to Identify and deploy control measures to ensure compliance and adherence to corporate security standardsProduce and disseminate periodic reporting on software projects and post-production performance to management and customers
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field preferredCompTIA Server+, Security+, MCSA, or similar certification preferred1 – 3 years of hands-on experience with Windows Server 2012R2 - 2022 Operation Systems1 – 2 years of working experience in a Software Development Operation capacity1 – 2 years of hands-on administration and management of source code control and production platforms (GitLab, Team Foundation Services, etc.)Knowledge of deployment/configuration management tools such as Jenkins or PuppetExcellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution and customer service skills
