Associate Frontend Developer

We are looking for an Associate Frontend Developer to join our remote team and support a major Belgian administrative firm as they expand their digital financial reporting systems. In this role, you will build and refine the interfaces that allow finance teams to interact with complex data sets. You will focus on creating tools that are functional and precise, ensuring that the visual side of financial reporting is as reliable as the data behind it. About Alpine Business Consulting Alpine Business Consulting works at the intersection of finance processes and the systems that support them. We specialize in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and analytics, helping finance teams fix platforms that never delivered on their promises. While we build new systems from scratch, much of our work involves remediating existing setups in Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, and Power BI. We focus on the numbers side of the house, ensuring that consolidation rules, intercompany eliminations, and reporting pipelines reflect how a finance team actually operates. What You Will Do Develop and maintain web-based interfaces for financial data visualization and reporting. Write clean, functional HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support custom EPM applications. Collaborate with senior consultants to translate financial requirements into intuitive user components. Assist in the remediation of existing dashboards to improve clarity and data accuracy for our clients. Build and update internal documentation that helps client administrators manage their own frontend systems. Participate in the configuration of reporting layouts within platforms like Power BI and Oracle EPM. Test new features across different browsers and devices to ensure consistent performance for finance users. Support the data migration process by creating views that help users validate large volumes of financial records. Attend remote project check-ins to provide updates on development progress and blockers. What We Are Looking For A basic understanding of modern frontend technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. A strong interest in how financial data is organized and reported in a corporate setting. An exceptional eye for detail, particularly regarding the alignment and presentation of numerical data. Curiosity and a willingness to learn the technical architecture of enterprise platforms like SAP or Oracle. The ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues and clients in plain English. Comfort working in a fully remote environment where proactive communication is necessary.
