What You'll Do
Design and implement new features in our search infrastructure solutions at Uber.
Join on call rotation, driving continuous improvements on system availability, scalability, performance and efficiency.
Collaborate with other infrastructure teams, production engineer team and product manager to drive adoption and standardize processes, and to design and implement high impact, cross-product features.
Mentor engineers and support peer growth, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
May telecommute.
Basic Qualifications
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or related field, and 2 year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires:Go, Python, and Java;GIT or SVN ; Data structures and algorithms development and functionality; Designing technology stacks; Debugging and monitoring for production services; Distributed systems; Software Development Lifecycle;ElasticSearch or OpenSearch.
