Job Description We are seeking a Senior Consultant to deliver technical consulting across VMware Cloud Foundation and sovereign cloud projects. You will implement approved designs, automate platform operations, troubleshoot issues and produce clear technical documentation. This role is delivery focused, with a strong emphasis on automation, consistency and high quality technical outcomes. Consultants who build deeper design capability will have a clear pathway into architecture roles. Duties and Responsibilities Deliver consulting work aligned to approved architectures and Statements of WorkBuild, configure, validate and maintain VCF environmentsLead assigned workstreams with autonomyProduce accurate and reusable as built documentationIdentify and escalate design issues, delivery risks and scope concerns earlySupport customer workshops, technical discussions and operational handoversContribute implementation patterns, known issues and reusable artefacts to the practiceMaintain accurate timesheets, status updates and delivery reporting Education/Certifications Required 4+ years hands on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation or related VMware technologiesRecent hands on experience with VCF 9 or VCF 5.2 / vSphere 8Experience delivering infrastructure, virtualisation, cloud or private cloud consulting engagements Knowledge/Skills Required Strong experience across vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN and NSXExperience implementing solutions from existing designsStrong troubleshooting capability across platform, infrastructure and networkingExperience producing customer facing technical documentationExperience working in structured delivery environmentsAbility to work directly with customer technical teams Highly Desirable Deep automation experience with VCF 9.1 All AppsExperience with VMware Aria Automation, Aria Orchestrator, PowerCLI, Terraform, Ansible and Git workflowsAbility to automate Day 0, Day 1 and Day 2 operationsStrong NSX experience including segmentation, gateways, distributed firewall, load balancing and identity integrationUnderstanding of how networking and security design affects automation and workload onboarding Desirable Experience delivering VCF across greenfield builds, expansion, upgrades and lifecycle managementvSAN and storage delivery experienceEnterprise Linux administrationExperience enabling VKS, Tanzu or similar Kubernetes platforms Employment Benefits Clear progression pathway into architecture rolesWork within a high performing sovereign cloud practiceExposure to complex, regulated and mission critical environmentsSupport for certification progression including VCF 9 Administrator and VCAP specialisationsCollaborative team culture with strong mentoring and knowledge sharing Diversity and Inclusion We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
