As a platform DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. On our team, you’ll strengthen your skills using the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform knowledge, you’ll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process. You’ll work with your team to recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. You Have: 4+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments4+ years of experience deploying and managing infrastructure in AWS environments, including EC2, EKS, ECS, and LambdaExperience with cloud infrastructure and automation tools, including Terraform and Gitlab CI/CDExperience with DevOps, Git repositories, and CI/CD leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to configure AWS cloud environmentsExperience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, AWS, or JenkinsExperience developing, managing, and securing containersAbility to obtain a Top Secret clearance HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or JavaScript, for automation purposesKnowledge of creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacksKnowledge of creating and improving continuous deployment tools built on KubernetesKnowledge of triaging and resolving issues related to both open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environmentsKnowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Linux Shell ScriptTop Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
