You & your role Shape Rabobank's digital asset foundation as a Senior DevOps Engineer, building core capabilities for custody, trading, payments and tokenization. Working at the intersection of software engineering, cloud infrastructure and blockchain technology, you integrate industry-leading digital asset platforms into a secure, regulated technology environment and help turn architectural vision into reliable production systems. Facts & figures 36 or 40 hours per weekWorking across software engineering, cloud infrastructure and blockchain technology9.5 million customers worldwide Top 3 responsibilities Lead the technical implementation of digital asset custody, trading, payment and transaction flows using platforms such as Fireblocks and Trever.Design, develop and maintain backend services, APIs and integrations for Rabobank's digital asset ecosystem.Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, automated deployments and operational tooling for reliable platform operations. You will join a small and specialized Digital Assets Services team with significant influence on the platform's evolution and the engineering culture that shapes it. You & your talent You are an experienced engineer who combines strong technical knowledge with ownership and leadership. 7+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, platform engineering or a comparable technical role.Strong backend development experience, preferably with Java and Spring Boot, and experience designing and building APIs, integrations and distributed systems.Experience integrating and consuming SaaS platforms and external APIs within complex enterprise environments.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, with exposure to Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform.Experience managing Linux-based environments in both cloud and on-premise infrastructures, with system reliability, observability, operational support and incident management.Strong analytical skills and a proactive ownership mentality, with experience leading technical delivery and guiding other engineers.Curiosity for emerging technology domains such as blockchain technology, digital asset infrastructure, tokenization, stablecoins, cryptographic key management and transaction-signing infrastructure.
