Permanent | $170,000 + Super | Hybrid - 2-3 days in the office
We're partnering with a well-established organisation looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to help build, automate and improve its Azure cloud environment.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, improving cloud engineering practices and creating secure, scalable platforms through automation.
What you'll be doing
Designing, building and supporting scalable infrastructure across Microsoft AzureAutomating cloud deployments using Infrastructure as Code, ideally Bicep or TerraformBuilding and improving CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deploymentsEngineering Azure networking solutions across VNets, subnets, routing, private endpoints, firewalls and connectivityImproving the security, reliability, scalability and performance of the Azure environmentDeveloping reusable infrastructure modules, deployment patterns and engineering standardsTroubleshooting complex cloud, deployment and networking issuesWorking closely with engineering, architecture, security and operations teamsMentoring other engineers and helping uplift DevOps and cloud engineering capability
What we're looking for
Strong commercial experience engineering and supporting Microsoft Azure environmentsAdvanced Infrastructure as Code experience using Bicep or TerraformStrong knowledge of Azure networking, including VNets, NSGs, routing, private endpoints, DNS and hybrid connectivityExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar toolingStrong understanding of Azure identity, security, governance and monitoringScripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Azure CLI or similarA strong troubleshooting mindset and the ability to work across complex cloud environmentsExcellent communication skills and the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholdersPrevious experience operating at a senior engineering level
