Role DescriptionThe Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining reliable software applications and systems. The role involves analyzing technical requirements, designing software solutions, writing clean and maintainable code, troubleshooting issues, and improving application performance and security. The Software Engineer collaborates with product managers, business analysts, QA teams, and other technical stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. The role also contributes to code reviews, technical documentation, system integration, automation, and continuous improvement of development practices and software quality. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Strong understanding of software engineering principles, system design, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C++, or Go.Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and strong understanding of SQL.Understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, system integration, and distributed application concepts.Proficiency with Git or other version control systems and familiarity with CI/CD practices.Knowledge of software testing, debugging, code review, and secure coding practices.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern software development tools.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.Ability to write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code.Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
