VO's technology initiatives originated in health technology and continue to include healthcare-related development, while expanding into software products with strong educational, strategic, and commercial potential. We are currently developing a mobile simulation product and are looking for a senior developer to help bring an advanced web-based prototype into production on Android and iOS. ResponsibilitiesReview and improve an existing HTML/JavaScript application.Convert and maintain the application for Android and iOS, preferably using Capacitor.Implement reliable local and cloud Save/Load functionality.Develop or integrate backend services for user profiles, statistics, achievements, and leaderboards.Integrate mobile features including audio, haptics, app lifecycle handling, and device storage.Optimize performance and compatibility across mobile devices.Prepare and manage Google Play and Apple App Store releases.Work closely with the product owner and UI/UX designer through final development and launch. RequirementsStrong JavaScript/TypeScript experience.Experience with Capacitor / Ionic Capacitor.Experience shipping production Android and iOS applications.Backend/API integration experience.Familiarity with Android Studio and Xcode.Strong debugging and software architecture skills.Able to work independently with an existing codebase.Preferred: Node.js, React/Vue, Kotlin, Swift, Firebase/Supabase, cloud synchronization, leaderboards, automated testing, or game/simulation development experience.
