Responsibilities
Design secure, highly available, and scalable production platformsDefine and govern enterprise architecture standards, principles, and technology roadmapsLead architecture reviews and provide technical leadership across complex customer engagementsDrive cloud transformation, platform modernization, and DevOps adoptionPromote best practices in security, automation, observability, disaster recovery, and operational excellenceMentor technical teams and support strategic technology decisions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, cloud architecture, platform engineering, or related fieldsStrong experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud architecturesStrong knowledge of Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory, LDAP, OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and Zero Trust principlesHands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and HelmProven experience with CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Jenkins, GitLab, Argo CD, and artifact repository management (Nexus / Artifactory)Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix and Microsoft Windows Server administrationGood knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL database platforms, including high availability, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and operational best practicesSolid understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPNs, firewalls, SSL/TLS, reverse proxies, and load balancingExperience in designing and operating enterprise-scale production environmentsFamiliarity with automation, observability, disaster recovery, and operational excellence practicesFluency in Greek and in English, both written and spokenStrong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team membersMulti-tasking and organizational skills, ability to work under tight deadlinesProblem-solving and analytical skills
