This position can be located in either Redondo Beach, CA or Aurora, CO. Please be aware that this position is contingent upon capturing program award(s) and obtaining and maintaining associated business and/or customer funding. Furthermore, this position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company. Continued employment thereafter will be subject to maintenance at the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future. In this role, you will develop and sustain several mission operational SW product lines, as well as develop new capabilities. You will join a large team comprising of multiple subsystems, each with a specialized software focus. We are looking for an energetic and passionate software engineer to join our team as we work to provide innovative solutions to complex issues in support of our national security mission. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degreeMust have an active SCI at time of application or an active TS clearance at time of application with the ability to obtain SCI within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company prior to start dateObject-Oriented programming skillsExperience in one or more server-side languages, including C++, Python, Node.js, Go, or JavaExperience developing scalable backend solutionsExperience designing and developing RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, or gRPC servicesProficient in Agile principles, and the effective use of Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket Preferred Qualifications Experience with Kubernetes and containerized software runtimesAdvanced mathematics, optimization, and 3D spatial computing skillsRobotics and motion planning algorithmsDomain knowledge of spacecraft attitude controlDevSecOps Test Automation experienceStrong skills in math and algorithmsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of employees, management, and stakeholdersPrevious participation on an Agile scrum team or familiarity with the Agile processExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo)Experience developing in a Linux environment using gitPrevious experience developing Command and Control software for Satellite Ground SystemsExperience working within a DevOps pipeline (ArgoCD, GitLab Runners, Zephyr Test Framework)Active TS/SCI security clearance Primary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
