What to expect on this role: As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in C# and Python, you'll play a key role in shaping, developing, and delivering innovative issuer processing solutions within the fintech space. Your journey involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, design scalable cloud-based solutions, and build robust new capabilities that continuously enhance our service offerings. Design and build scalable, secure applications using C#/.NET and Python, supported by modern frameworks and cloud technologies.Develop APIs and distributed services using REST, GraphQL, microservices, event-driven architecture, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and containerisation.Work with databases including MS SQL Server, DynamoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, using tools such as Entity Framework and Dapper.Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, Architects, and Engineering teams to design and deliver high-quality solutions using techniques such as C4 modelling and scenario tracing.Build and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, API Gateway, and serverless technologies.Maintain quality through automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and observability, using tools such as xUnit/NUnit, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, Octopus, SonarCloud, Serilog, Coralogix, and ELK.Optimize, troubleshoot, and improve existing applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.Support and mentor engineers while promoting strong development practices and continuous technical improvement.
