Senior Linux Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux Engineer to support a large-scale Data Center Migration Program for business-critical payment systems. You will be responsible for building, configuring, testing and migrating Linux-based environments, working closely with Application, Middleware and Project Management teams. This position requires working on-site from our Warsaw office, with occasional remote work Job responsibilities: Support Linux infrastructure within a Data Center Migration Program. Build, configure and maintain Linux server environments. Support application migrations, testing and production readiness. Troubleshoot infrastructure, performance and connectivity issues. Work closely with Application, Middleware and Project Management teams. Automate operational tasks using Ansible and Rundeck. Maintain technical documentation in Confluence. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Strong experience in Linux administration, preferably RHEL and Oracle Linux. Experience with JBoss, WildFly, Tomcat, Apache, OHS or Spring Boot environments. Hands-on knowledge of Ansible and Rundeck. Scripting skills in Bash and/or Python. Good understanding of networking, load balancing, TLS, PKI and PGP. Experience with Linux monitoring, performance analysis and troubleshooting. Previous experience with data center or application migration projects. Understanding of high-availability and business-critical systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Very good English skills and fluent Polish b>Nice to have: RHCE certification. Experience in banking, payments or financial services. Experience with payment processing, card authorization or high-volume transaction systems. Previous experience in data center or large-scale application migration projects.
