Backend Engineer

Backend Engineers are key members of our engineering team, building the backend services and infrastructure essential to our clients’ products. Over time, we expect you to grow by learning and practicing technical ownership, promoting best practices in coding and architecture, collaborating with and mentoring other members of the engineering team, and becoming a vocal advocate of our engineering forward culture. The Ideal Candidate We will only be considering candidates based in Lisbon, Portugal. Build backend services in C#, .Net, Typescript and NodeJSDesign and development of backend features and components for bespoke internal web applicationsWork with Product and Design counterparts to bring features from conception to launchCollaborate with other engineers in API design and developmentWrite clean, high-quality code and tests while keeping the user experience fast and reliableHelp triage bugs, track software defects, and ensure their timely resolutionParticipate in development life cycle activities like design, coding, testing and production release.Define and steward technical standards and quality with fellow EngineersConduct peer code reviews for pull requests We look for team members who advocate for software engineering best practices and inspire their team to continuously learn and improve.
