Senior Platform Engineer, Agentic Systems

We're looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer, Agentic Systems to help us take things to the next level. What you’ll do Agent runtime and orchestration architectureMulti-step planning, task decomposition and execution controlModel selection, routing and fallbackTool selection, invocation and result verificationAgent state, context, memory and durable resumptionHuman-in-the-loop controls for ambiguity and high-risk actionsRecovery from model, tool and workflow failuresTracing, replay and debugging across agent trajectoriesEvaluations for task completion, correctness, safety and regressionGuardrails, permissions and approval flowsPlatform primitives used to build additional agents and workflows What we’re looking for Direct experience building and operating agentic systems in productionHands-on ownership of substantial parts of an agent runtime, harness or orchestration platformExperience with agents that perform multi-step work through tools and external systemsStrong understanding of agent failure modes, including looping, tool misuse, context loss, false completion and partial executionExperience with durable state, suspension, resumption and recoveryExperience building agent evaluations, trajectory analysis or regression suitesExperience debugging production behavior from traces, tool calls and execution historyStrong judgment about when to use model reasoning, deterministic logic or human reviewA record of shipping ambitious agent capabilities and owning their production performance Our stack Data: Snowflake, BigQuery, Postgres, dbt Cloud/infra: AWS (GCP), Terraform, DockerLanguages: Python, SQL, TypeScriptTooling: Hex, GitHub Actions, Git, Airbyte, Claude You won't have used every tool here, and you don't need to.
