Day-to-Day Responsibilities Embraces new technology with passionResponsible for writing clean, secure code, ideally following a test-driven approachCode that others can reuseApply technical knowledge and experience to create or design workable prototypes and outputsTranslate user stories and propose design approaches or services to meet user needs and engage in meaningful interactions and relationships with users when requiredAdopt a modern approach to standardsApply appropriate design standards, methods and tools and ensure they are applied effectivelyCollaborative, keen to share knowledge and learn continuallyThink out of the boxYou document all aspects of software, for ongoing maintenance and revisionsYou collaborate with other IT specialists, technicians, etc., to deliver software solutionsYou participate in on-going training to stay current in required skills Who Are We Looking For We look for big thinkers. In practice this means: You have 1+ years of experience in full-stack development with proficiency in Angular for frontend and Java with Spring for backendYou have strong technical skills in these areas: Angular, Java, Javascript, typescript, HTML, CSS, Camel, Spring, Springboot, Postgres, Oracle, Git/GitLab/JenkinsYou have strong knowledge of authentication and security mechanisms such as OAuth2, mTLS, JWT, and API security best practicesKnowledge on create and maintain reusable Angular libraries to optimize the development of future projectYou have strong knowledge of Spring ecosystem including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, and Spring CloudYou have good knowledge with dependency injection, AOP, and other core Spring conceptsDevOps experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)Knowledge with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)You have a degree in software engineering, computer science or similar fieldYou have great analytical and problem-solving skillsGood understanding of UI/UX design principles You have working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and/or any Cloud Provider, with experience of hosting software solutions on the platformYou have experience of Agile working environmentYou are organized and skilled in time-managementYou are very accurate and demonstrate high attention to detailYou have a willingness to learn additional technologies and programming languagesYou have sophisticated interpersonal and communication skillsYou are fluent in English, German is a plus Perks & Benefits At Worldline you’ll get the chance to be at the heart of the global payments technology industry and shape how the world pays and gets paid.
