The Markets Business Technology Tribe plays a vital role in Danske Bank, bringing together Quant and IT professionals in a collaborative development organisation. You will work with dedicated colleagues in a global team characterised by an inclusive and professional culture. As our new Software Engineer, you will become part of our Committed Loans squad, which focuses on core platforms and functionality supporting committed corporate loans. We support the Group’s business ambitions, improve risk management and digitise existing workflows. The Committed Loans squad is an international and diverse team based across four development centres in Vilnius, Copenhagen, Pune and Bangalore. The squad works closely with both front office business areas and loan servicing teams to ensure an end-to-end perspective in everything we do. A university degree is required, preferably in IT, data science, computer science or a related field. You Will: Design and develop full stack applications together with a strong teamEngage with stakeholders and users to identify gaps and pain pointsDrive the development of new features and improvementsUse AI tools responsibly to support software development, improve productivity and enhance code qualityContribute to engineering excellence through code reviews, testing, documentation and knowledge sharingSupport our digital transformation by building solutions aligned with the business strategyCollaborate closely with the squad, business and end-users to solve complex problemsHelp create an encouraging and collaborative environment based on teamwork and trust About You : Strong software engineering experience with C# and .NET 8+Proven ability to design, develop and maintain full stack applicationsExperience using AI tools to support software development, including code generation, refactoring, testing, documentation and debuggingA responsible and critical approach to AI-assisted development, with the ability to validate output and apply sound engineering judgementStrong communication skills and the ability to create transparency with stakeholders and team membersA collaborative mindset and motivation to solve complex business and technology problemsAppreciation for connecting IT and platform development to tangible business outcomesInterest in financial markets, lending solutions and close collaboration across the value chain We offer: This position can be located both in Denmark and Lithuania. If you are hired in Lithuania, the applicable salary range will be from 4960 to 7440 EUR monthly (based on your competencies relevant for the job). We are seeking someone who enjoys scripting, automating procedures, and setting up systems, and who is eager to enhance their skillset. The skill requirements within DMS are high, providing an excellent opportunity to develop advanced capabilities, particularly in navigating a true enterprise-grade development environment.
