Full Stack Software Engineer

We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our international team and contribute to the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications across the entire technology stack. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain front-end and back-end applications using modern web technologies and programming languages.Develop front-end web architecture and design intuitive and effective user interactions.Implement core business logic and server-side functionality.Develop features across the entire technology stack, from user interfaces and API consumption to server-side business logic and database interactions.Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable RESTful APIs and web services.Apply data and security best practices, including input validation, authentication and authorisation, secure storage, compliant logging, and monitoring.Ensure web applications are optimised for performance and functionality across different browsers and devices.Design and develop responsive applications providing a consistent user experience.Participate in the design and development of scalable software solutions.Maintain code integrity, organisation, quality, and consistency across the full technology stack.Write clean, functional, and maintainable front-end and back-end code.Work with relational and non-relational databases, ensuring appropriate schema design and efficient data access.Analyse application data, processes, and code to troubleshoot issues and identify areas for improvement.Perform unit and integration testing, debug issues, and validate code changes.Integrate front-end and back-end builds and automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments using modern DevOps practices and containerisation technologies.Apply Infrastructure-as-Code practices to ensure consistent and repeatable environment provisioning.Ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements and align with user expectations.Prepare and maintain technical documentation.Bridge the gap between front-end and back-end development teams, facilitating communication and ensuring cohesive integration of system components.Apply security and cloud best practices throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle.Collaborate with international and multicultural teams, contributing both independently and as part of a wider engineering team. What We Are Looking For (Requirements): Professional experience with fundamental front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and libraries such as Angular, React, Vue.js, and Bootstrap.Experience with modern front-end build tools such as Webpack or Vite.Professional experience with back-end technologies such as Java, Node.js, and/or PHP, with experience in frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.Experience working with both relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle and non-relational databases such as MongoDB, including schema design and query optimisation.Experience with Git workflows, such as GitFlow or trunk-based development, and basic understanding of legacy version control systems such as SVN.Knowledge of cloud platforms and services such as AWS and Azure, with experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments.Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep.Experience designing, building, and securing RESTful APIs and web services, including OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Understanding of authentication and authorisation protocols and standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.Experience integrating front-end and back-end builds into CI/CD pipelines.Strong understanding of security and cloud best practices.Ability to quickly adapt to new projects, technologies, and development environments.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Ability to participate in multilingual meetings.Good command of English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of French would be considered an additional asset.Results-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions.Minimum level of expertise: Junior. Optional: One of the following or an equivalent certification: AWS Certified Developer – Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate. Additional AWS or Azure certifications would be considered an advantage.
