Site Reliability Engineer (Linux & Kubernetes) Legacy bare metal on one side, cloud-native on the other - and you're the engineer who speaks both languages. A global enterprise software leader is modernising its core infrastructure, and they need an SRE who can keep Tier-0 services running flawlessly while the migration happens around them. If you've grown up on production Linux and added Kubernetes to your toolkit, read on. What's in it for you: Annual Salary up to โ‚ฌ96,000 (DOE)11-month contract with the possibility of extension; PAYE, paid weekly via Principle HRLocation: Dublin Central - Hybrid working - on-site Mondays and Tuesdays What you'll need: 5+ years of production Linux SRE experience2+ years of Kubernetes SRE experiencePublic cloud DevOps and CI/CD experience - Azure, AWS or GCPStrong container troubleshooting, plus legacy Linux, storage and networking know-howDevelopment skills in Python or Golang (a must, not a nice-to-have)Monitoring and logging with Prometheus, ELK or similar A typical day might look like: Running day-to-day DevOps across legacy bare-metal and cloud-native workloads in parallelKubernetes cluster operations, troubleshooting and scalingSupporting migrations - cutover validation, runbooks and incident responseOperating Tier-0 services: DNS, LDAP, DHCP, CDN and IP networking, in both their legacy and cloud-native forms Interested?
