Senior Java Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation and statutory compliance reporting solutions using Java-based data export facility extensionsSupport Java applications and integrations with SAP BOAnalyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutionsEnsure implementations align with existing product frameworks and architecture standardsPerform code reviews, optimization, and defect resolution to ensure high-quality deliverablesParticipate in testing, deployment, and production support activities requiring development interventionProvide technical support during test and production deploymentsCollaborate with cross-functional and cross-location teams to resolve moderate to complex application and software issuesContribute to process improvement and quality initiatives, including automation opportunitiesParticipate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, sprint reviews, backlog estimation, and status reportingAssist in improving application performance, stability, and maintainability Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field5–7 years of hands-on development experience in:Java developmentREST/SOAP web servicesREST Framework technologiesStrong working experience with:Oracle DatabaseMS SQL ServerSolid understanding of:Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)SQL DevelopmentApplication performance tuning and optimizationExperience in documenting business requirements and translating them into technical solutionsKnowledge of SAP BO, Data Warehousing (DWH), BI methodologies, and reporting tools is an advantageAbility to work independently and collaboratively within globally distributed teamsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAdaptable to changing priorities and dynamic project requirementsWilling to work mid-shift schedule (1:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
