Senior Java Engineer

Spotware Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer to join our dynamic team in our office in Limassol. As a Senior Java Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies. You will be communicating with the Product Manager, Client-Side Developers, DevOps and the DBA team. Responsibilities: Designing, developing, and implementing Java-based applications, components, and servicesCollaborating with architects and technical leads to define software architecture and design patternsWorking closely with QA engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of software deliverablesClear specifications and requirements will be provided to you by the Product Manager and there will be strict plans and sometimes deadlines to follow Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of experience as a Java DeveloperSolid experience with unit testingStrong J2SE programming skillsMulti-threading (Executors, locks)Understanding of Collections framework and its pitfallsExperience with Spring Web and Spring IoCExperience in TCP/IP networking and sockets programming (Netty nice to have)Strong experience with SQLSkills in a high performance and low latency environmentsStrong analytical skills required to solve complicated technical problemsFluency in Russian and B1+ in English languageYou use AI not just occasionally, but as a core part of how you think, work, and deliver results.
