Senior Agent Infrastructure Engineer

You will own the critical path of Nomiqon's platform: the APIs and systems that create, manage, and enforce cryptographic agent identities and spending policies at scale. This role sits at the intersection of distributed systems, blockchain infrastructure, and developer tooling. You will work closely with the protocol team to ensure that every agent identity issued through Nomiqon is secure, auditable, and blazingly fast to provision. What You'll Do Design and build the core Agent Identity Issuance API — the system that generates ed25519 keypairs, provisions USDC wallets on Solana, and stores policy configurationsArchitect the spending enforcement layer that intercepts and validates every agent-initiated transaction against the active policy set in real timeBuild and maintain the developer-facing REST API and TypeScript SDK, ensuring ergonomic, well-documented interfaces that can onboard a developer in under 10 minutesDesign and implement the webhook event system for real-time spend monitoring and policy violation alertsCollaborate with the security team to model threat vectors specific to AI agent financial activity and harden the platform accordinglyDrive infrastructure decisions around scalability, reliability, and latency for a platform processing thousands of agent transactions per minute What We Need 5+ years of experience building production backend systems in TypeScript, Rust, or GoDeep understanding of distributed systems, eventual consistency, and high-throughput API designExperience with Solana program development or deep familiarity with the Solana runtime modelStrong understanding of cryptographic primitives — key management, signing schemes, threshold cryptographyProven track record of building developer-facing APIs that external teams actually love usingExperience with USDC, stablecoin mechanics, or fintech payment rails is a strong plus Nice to Have Experience building infrastructure for AI agent frameworks (LangChain, AutoGPT, etc.)Familiarity with formal verification or property-based testing for financial systemsPrior work at a crypto protocol, neobank, or fintech infrastructure company Questions? careers@nomiqon.com
