Mid-Level SysOps Engineer

Description LMW, on behalf of its client, a leading international technology and digital transformation consulting company, is looking for a Mid-Level SysOps Engineer to join a strategic project within the digital payments industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly available, secure, and performance-driven environment, supporting critical infrastructure and applications that power modern payment services. You'll collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of enterprise systems while contributing to the continuous improvement of infrastructure and operational processes. Key Responsibilities Manage, maintain, and optimize Linux-based production and non-production environments.Support hybrid infrastructure across AWS and on-premises environments.Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Ansible.Build, maintain, and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.Monitor system health, performance, and availability using observability and monitoring tools, ensuring proactive issue detection and resolution.Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.Perform routine database administration and operational support, including backups, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure reliable and secure service delivery.Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.Requirements 3–5 years of professional experience in a SysOps, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Operations role.Strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration.Experience managing infrastructure in AWS and on-premises environments.Proficiency with Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management.Experience designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and application deployment.Experience with observability, logging, and monitoring solutions.Understanding of database operations, including routine maintenance, backups, and performance monitoring.Familiarity with scripting (Bash, Python, or similar) is considered an advantage.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.Benefits Opportunity to contribute to a large-scale project in the digital payments sector.Exposure to modern cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and enterprise infrastructure.A collaborative and technology-driven work environment.Long-term project with opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning.Competitive compensation package.
