This role offers hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and optimising high-performance websites that enhance user experience and support business objectives. You will work closely with our design, marketing, and operations teams to improve website functionality, ensure technical excellence, and drive overall digital performance. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain websites primarily using WordPress, with occasional work on platforms such as Shopify or WixConvert design concepts into fully responsive, high-quality websites that function seamlessly across all devicesEnsure strong UI/UX standards, focusing on layout structure, typography, spacing, and overall visual consistencyContinuously refine and iterate on website designs and builds based on client feedback and project needsIdentify and resolve technical issues, including bugs, performance bottlenecks, and hosting-related problemsOptimize websites for speed, performance, and reliabilityOversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and clear accountabilityPerform routine maintenance, improvements, and updates for active client websitesOptimize websites for Google Featured Snippets and implement/support Google AMP. Requirements Strong understanding of UI/UX principles with a keen eye for detail (layout, color, typography, and spacing are critical)At least 2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development, including tools like Elementor, WPBakery, or custom theme workProven ability to independently translate designs into functional, polished websitesExperience working with WooCommerceEffective time management skills with the ability to prioritize across multiple projectsHighly self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and ownershipHave experience in database management, server management and hosting management.Ability to optimize websites for speed, mobile responsiveness, and search engine visibility.Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, and related platforms.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
