The role and the team We are looking for an Engineering Lead to establish and guide a new team, Product Infra. You will focus on improving the architecture of our products and improving infrastructure around it. You will ensure that our product customization, dependency management, deployment pipelines, and test infrastructures are streamlined. Your focus will be on creating reliable, scalable solutions that support a growing number of customers and use cases. You will collaborate closely with DevOps and Quality Assurance teams while focusing on product-specific needs. This includes improving our product to support a growing number of platform customers. You will also drive improvements to our build architecture, dependency management, and test infrastructure. We work in a hybrid model and expect team members to be onsite few days a week to support collaboration, onboarding, and team cohesion. Your impact As an Engineering Lead, you will: Create an environment where people and products flourishEncouragingteam workwithintheteam and with other teamsWorking closely with Product Owner to define work for theteam in backlog Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor the Product Infra team through regular 1:1s, focusing on wellbeing and professional growthDrive improvements in:Product customization and variation for our desktop productsProduct deployment - improve product distribution, software update mechanismDesktop application build system – help to improve build speed, modularity and reliability together with DevOpsDependency management - maintain up‑to‑date and well‑organized dependencies, and enable Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) reportingTest infrastructure - help to improve our custom test infrastructure for the 3D simulation platform together with QACollaborate with other teams on cross-functional dependenciesFacilitate team Scrum activities and maintain momentum toward shared goalsProvide technical and quality oversight, including design reviews and testing strategiesChampion continuous improvement indevelopmentprocess, tooling, and product quality While the Engineering Lead role focuses on leading and supporting the team, we value strong technical involvement. You will stay close to the code through architectural design, reviews, and selected hands-on contributions, especially in complex or high-impact areas.
