Software Engineer

About the Role: As a Software Engineer, you will work in close cooperation with our trading and analysis teams to build and maintain the software tools that make our trading possible. This is a role for a "tinkerer"—someone driven by curiosity to understand how systems work under the hood. At Sirius Energy, we prioritize attitude and a hunger for learning above all else. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain in-house applications used by traders and analysts;Manage and maintain connectivity with various power/gas markets;Optimize and refactor existing code, ensuring it is reliable, maintainable, and scalable;Perform code reviews, rigorous testing, and integrate software into existing systems;Collaborate closely with analysts, traders, and other developers to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
