Job Description:
The Federal Pensions Service is looking for an experienced Build & Release Engineer to join the Build & Release team.The team is responsible for managing, supporting and further developing the central CI/CD ecosystem that is used within the organization.The consultant will not only be responsible for the operational management of these platforms, but will also actively contribute to the further modernization and standardization of the software delivery chain.
Purpose of the position
As a Build & Release Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing and optimising the build, release and deployment processes of the Federal Pension Service.You will support development teams in realizing reliable and automated software delivery and actively participate in the transformation of the current CI/CD solution into a future-oriented, scalable and secure software delivery environment.You will contribute to a higher quality of software delivery, a faster time-to-market and a further reduction of operational risks and technical debt.
Key responsibilities
Managing and optimizing the existing CI/CD ecosystem.
The current environment uses Jenkins, Digital.ai Release, Digital.ai Deploy and Nexus Repository, among others.Design, implement, and maintain build and deployment pipelines, and analyze and troubleshoot complex build and deployment issues.Supporting development teams with CI/CD-related challenges.Actively contribute to the modernization of the current CI/CD solution, including identifying and implementing improvements in build, release, and deployment processes.Standardize software delivery processes across different teams.Managing software artifacts and repositories.Integrate quality and security controls within the software supply chain.Drafting and maintaining technical documentation and procedures.Actively participate in knowledge sharing within the team.
