Internal Developer Platform Engineer at BairesDev As an Internal Developer Platform Engineer, you will design and build self-service platforms that streamline the software development lifecycle. You will focus on creating a unified portal for engineering teams, reducing cognitive load by providing standardized tools and automated infrastructure. What You'll Do Architect and maintain a centralized developer portal to improve service discovery and documentation. Create automated service templates and scaffolding to accelerate the onboarding of new microservices. Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to standardize deployment processes across the organization. Orchestrate containerized workloads and manage platform components within Kubernetes environments. Partner with development teams to identify friction points and enhance the overall developer experience. Develop custom plugins and integrations to extend the capabilities of the internal platform. What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering. Proven expertise in building internal developer platforms and portals using tools like Backstage or Cortex. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD platform design. Proficiency in programming with Go or Python for developing service templates and automation. Strong background in improving developer experience and self-service scaffolding.
