Windows System Developer

LOCATION: Augsburg, Germany or Bucharest, Romania THE ROLE: In our R&D department, we integrate software solutions in the cloud/server-based computing environment into our Linux-based IGEL OS, some of which work hand-in-hand with Windows. Our developers are responsible for the entire development process from planning to completion and specialize in areas such as software integration, development of clients/tools, customization and much more. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide architectural expertise around the entire Windows OS including installation, boot and system-level componentsExperience with enterprise environments, SCCM and security software would be a plusDevelop and maintain Windows system-level components (device drivers, services, installers, UI components, ...)Maintain and enhance development pipelines for Windows EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 5 years of professional experienceExperience in writing Windows system-level components such as device drivers and servicesDeep understanding of the structure and functionality of Windows-based systemsDevelopment experience with the Cygwin/MinGW frameworkProficiency in programming languages, including:C/C++/C#Pythoncmd/PowerShellBash would be a plusAbility to grasp complex concepts and work independently, to take responsibility for projectsAbility to define the architecture of complex Windows software projectsComfortable with working under minimal supervisionCapable of managing complex tasks with multiple variablesWillingness to explore new topics and contribute to designing and implementing innovative solutions as part of a teamLinux development experience would be a plus Interested?
