Job Description We are looking for a highly experienced AWS DevOps Architect with strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and DevOps automation. You will design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions while providing technical leadership across architecture, infrastructure, deployment, and operations. The role requires strong technical depth, the ability to make and justify architecture decisions, and experience working in complex enterprise environments. Responsibilities Design and architect end-to-end AWS cloud solutions aligned with business and technical requirements. Lead DevOps strategy across infrastructure, deployment, automation, and operations. Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK. Architect and support production Kubernetes / Amazon EKS environments. Design Kubernetes workloads, service interactions, request flows, and scaling strategies. Implement and optimize autoscaling using HPA, VPA, and Cluster Autoscaler. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools. Design secure, highly available, and cost-efficient AWS environments. Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response practices. Implement secure connectivity between applications and AWS managed services, including IAM-based or passwordless authentication where appropriate. Evaluate architecture options and provide clear technical justification for design decisions. Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve reliability and delivery. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and best-practice guidance to engineering teams. Profile / Requirements 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Cloud Architecture. Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes, including production environments. Deep understanding of Kubernetes components, deployments, services, ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and pod lifecycle. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes scaling mechanisms, including HPA, VPA, and Cluster Autoscaler. Extensive experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Route 53, EKS, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, ELB, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, and SNS. Strong experience with Terraform or CloudFormation. Proficiency in CI/CD and release automation. Solid Linux, networking, scripting, and automation skills. Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of AWS security and identity/access management. Experience designing end-to-end cloud architectures and explaining technical decisions. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional. Experience with microservices and distributed systems. Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk. Experience with enterprise-scale, multi-account AWS environments and landing zones. Programming or scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with Istio, Linkerd, or other service mesh technologies.
