Role Description The Computer Engineer role at Omneth Software and Consultancy is a full-time remote position focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining software and IT solutions for clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and testing software components, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and supporting system integrations. The role involves collaborating with consulting teams to analyze client requirements, propose technical architectures, and enhance system reliability and security. The Computer Engineer will document solutions, participate in code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of tools, processes, and best practices. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Engineering and Computer Science, including systems architecture and programming concepts.Proficiency in Software Development, including coding, testing, debugging, and version control.Hands-on experience with Troubleshooting in complex software and infrastructure environments.Knowledge of Cybersecurity principles and practices to help secure applications, networks, and data.Familiarity with IT consultancy or client-facing technical work is an advantage.Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.Good written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and client interaction.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with modern development frameworks, cloud platforms, or scripting languages is beneficial.
