ServiceNow Developer

Profectus is inviting expressions of interest from ServiceNow Developers for likely upcoming work spanning platform build, workflow development and integration across a range of ICT environments. We are seeking developers who can design, build and extend the ServiceNow platform to a high standard and support it reliably in structured, well-governed settings. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and configure applications and modules on the ServiceNow platformBuild and maintain workflows, Flow Designer flows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions and Service Catalog itemsDevelop and support integrations with other systems using REST, SOAP and IntegrationHub, including MID Server configurationWrite clean, maintainable, well-documented code aligned with ServiceNow development best practiceDesign and maintain data structures, transform maps and CMDB updates that support your solutionsSupport platform administration activities such as update sets, instance configuration and release deploymentDevelop and maintain Service Portal and UI Builder experiences for end usersSupport unit testing, defect resolution and deployment activitiesProduce and maintain technical documentation for development activities and configurationsWork alongside architects, platform owners and delivery teams to deliver reliable outcomes Required Experience Demonstrated experience developing on the ServiceNow platform in large ICT environmentsStrong scripting ability with JavaScript and the ServiceNow Glide APIs across both server-side and client-side developmentExperience developing across core ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request and CMDBExperience building integrations using REST, SOAP and IntegrationHubWorking knowledge of Service Catalog, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies and Script IncludesFamiliarity with platform administration and release processes, including update sets and instance maintenanceFamiliarity with ITIL-aligned service management processesStrong documentation skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders Desirable Experience ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer or Certified System AdministratorExperience developing across additional modules such as ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, GRC/IRM or HRSDExperience with Service Portal or UI Builder developmentExperience with Discovery and Service MappingPrior experience delivering within large or secure ICT environments Eligibility Must be an Australian CitizenA willingness to obtain an AGSVA security clearance Why Profectus As a ServiceNow partner, Profectus modernises and uplifts digital service delivery across the full ServiceNow lifecycle, from advisory and design through to implementation, integration and sustainment.
