Location: Germany / EU-EEA Workplace: Remote Start: January 2027 Project: German Public Sector We are looking for a Senior Mobile & Frontend Developer with strong Flutter/Dart experience to join a long-term digitalisation project for a German public-sector client. You will be responsible for the further development and maintenance of a Flutter-based citizen-facing mobile application for iOS and Android, as well as associated web frontend components. Your responsibilities Develop and maintain a Flutter-based mobile application for iOS and AndroidDevelop and maintain web frontend componentsIntegrate mobile and web applications with REST APIs and backend servicesIntegrate frontend components with a CMS and project APIsPrepare and publish regular releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play StoreManage release notes, store descriptions and application assetsImplement unit and functional tests for frontend componentsContribute to technical and user documentation in GermanProvide UI/UX input with a focus on accessibilityWork as part of an Agile/Scrum development teamUse Git and GitLab CI as part of the development workflowRequired experience 4+ years of professional experience developing, building and maintaining mobile applicationsStrong professional experience with Flutter/Dart; experience with native iOS or Android or comparable frameworks is also relevant4+ years of experience developing and integrating web-based interfaces, particularly REST APIs4+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum teamsDemonstrable experience publishing and maintaining applications in both Apple App Store and Google Play StoreHands-on experience with Git and GitLab CIGerman C1 level or DSH 2 requiredAbility to work remotely from within the EU/EEA Nice to have Experience with public-sector or citizen-facing applicationsExperience with maps, geodata or location-based mobile applicationsKnowledge of accessibility standards such as BITV 2.0 or WCAG 2.1Experience with headless CMS platforms or REST-based content management systems Project details This is a long-term public-sector project starting in January 2027, with an initial framework term of 24 months and potential extensions.
