Who We Are GovText is a text related AI platform aims to avail a suite of reusable AI services to accelerate the incorporation of AI into WOG or agency-specific systems and applications. We are part of the GovTech's Data and Artificial Intelligence Platforms team. Where the mission is to deliver Data and AI assets for policy making, service delivery and operations across WOG. What You Will Be Working On You will work on both small and large scale projects, building and maintaining and deployment of the infrastructure behind them. With a mix of on-premises and cloud infrastructure Manage the development, deployment, orchestration and maintenance of application services for our productsProviding DevOps architecture implementation and operational supportArchitecture and planning for on-premises and cloud deployments (Private and Public cloud)Developing and managing processes, automation, best practices, documentationDevelopment and operation of continuous integration and deployment pipelines What It Is Like Working Here We build products that serve a variety of agency users, who use them to solve highly meaningful problems pertinent to our society, from transportation, to education, to healthcare. Taking time to learn new architectures, frameworks, technologies, and even languages is not just encouraged but essential Requirements We have products that resides in both on-premises and cloud infrastructure. Having that breadth of knowledge in government IT infrastructure and experience in government networks will help. A disciplined approach and strong problem-solving instincts are fundamental to succeed. Your aptitude for completing the tasks and attitude to continuous learning are more valued than any formal certification. To succeed, you will need to possess some of the following: Excellent problem solving and methodical troubleshooting skillsExperience with on-premise deployments, government application and networking infrastructure/routingStrong knowledge and experience in setup of infrastructure services e.g. Elasticsearch, Openshift, MongoDB, PostgresqlKnowledge and experience working with air-gapped on-premise deployments would be a good plusCloud computing deployment and management experience in AWS, Azure and some GCP knowledgeStrong scripting skills e.g. Python, Bash, JavaScriptStrong understanding of virtualization and networking conceptsExperience with patch maintenance, regression testing and security incident responseExperience with interactive workloads, machine learning toolkits and how they integrate with cloud computing e.g. JupyterhubExperience with highly scalable distributed systemsBreadth of knowledge - OS, networking, distributed computing, cloud computing, authentication, security, monitoring services and capacity planning Join us and discover a meaningful and exciting career with Assurity Trusted Solutions!
