Hatzi Filax Group, on behalf of its client, is looking for a Software Developer to maintain, support, and enhance the company's back-office system and its associated peripheral systems.
The position reports to the IT Manager and we are looking for someone who can work confidently within a complex ecosystem of legacy and modern applications, supporting daily business operations, third-party integrations, and automated processes.
The successful candidate will work on a system that includes:
MS SQL Server (triggers, stored procedures, functions, data processing)Back-office applications (C#, VB.NET, WinForms, ASP.NET Core website)Batch processing and automation toolsIntegrations and backend business logic
Indicative Responsibilities
Maintain and develop applications within the back-office ecosystemDebug and resolve production issuesAnalyze requirements and implement new featuresManage and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database processesDevelop and support integrations (web services, APIs)Participate in deployments and scheduled operational processesCollaborate closely with business and IT teams to promptly resolve issues
Requirements
The ideal candidate would possess:
At least 5 years of experience in software developmentStrong knowledge of VB6 (legacy WinForms applications), VB.NET, C#, MS SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, functions), and ASP.NET Core web applicationsUnderstanding of batch processing and scheduled jobsStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills in complex environmentsExperience with Git and version control systems
