Principal Infrastructure Architect - Azure

Permanent job for an Infrastructure Architect based in New Zealand Principal Infrastructure Architect - Azure NZ Citizen/NZ PR Required We are seeking a Principal Infrastructure Architect to lead large-scale infrastructure modernisation initiatives across enterprise and government environments. This position will play a key role in designing secure, scalable, and resilient Azure platforms while providing architectural leadership across complex migration programmes. What You'll Be Doing Lead end-to-end on-premise to Azure migration engagements.Design and implement Azure Landing Zones aligned with best practices.Architect Azure networking, identity, security, compute, and storage solutions.Develop high-level and low-level solution designs and migration roadmaps.Provide technical leadership and governance across project delivery teams.Guide infrastructure solution, cloud adoption, and modernisation initiatives.Support architecture reviews, risk management, and technical decision-making. Required Experience Extensive Azure infrastructure architecture experience.Proven delivery of enterprise-scale cloud migration projects.Strong knowledge of Azure Landing Zones and governance frameworks.Experience with Azure Networking including VNETs, Hub-Spoke, VPN, NSGs, and ExpressRoute.Azure security, identity management, Key Vault, and governance controls.Hybrid cloud architecture and migration patterns.Experience designing business continuity and disaster recovery solutions.
