Description

Intro ContractHero is on a mission to transform how companies manage their contracts – making it transparent, intuitive, and measurable. We build intelligent software that empowers finance and legal teams at mid-market and enterprise companies to take control of their contracts, reduce risk, and drive smarter business decisions. Join us and help build not just a product, but a category leader. Your Role We're a team of Full Stack Developers, and we're looking for a strong all-rounder — someone who's comfortable across the whole stack and happy to go wherever the interesting problem is. One week that's a customer-facing feature in the webapp, the next it's an API, the document pipeline, or a gnarly production issue. You build things end to end and own them once they ship. This is a build-and-own role: you take a problem from a rough spec to a shipped, tested, observable feature in production. Your Profile Multiple years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role Strong JavaScript / TypeScript skills across both Node.js and React Genuine breadth — comfortable owning a feature from database and API through to UI, and not shy about the parts outside your comfort zone Experience with databases, especially PostgreSQL Comfortable working with AWS and CI/CD pipelines Excellent communication and teamwork skills An analytical mind that likes digging into problems Located in Germany Experience with Nest.js is a plus Nice to have: document/PDF processing or AI/LLM-assisted extraction knowledge Why ContractHero As part of a still-small team, you'll take responsibility from day 1, working directly with the CTO and being part of key strategic decisions. You won't find a faster learning curve anywhere else. Competitive salary package 30 days paid vacation 100% remote within Germany or work from our Berlin office Regular team events and strong engineering culture Flat hierarchies with direct founder access
