JavaScript Developer – eCommerce - Front End leaning Full Stack role
Location: West London
Working pattern: Hybrid 2–3 days per week in the office
Salary: Up to £50,000 starting salary + benefits
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Front End leaning JavaScript Developer with eCommerce experience to join our global ecommerce/retail client team and help build and evolve customer-facing web applications.
You’ll work mainly on frontend + some backend codebases, taking ownership of features from development through to release and improvement.
You’ll work closely with developers, QA, UX/UI, product and delivery teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain JavaScript-based eCommerce applications.Build reusable, maintainable and high-quality components.Work closely with UX/UI and product teams to deliver responsive, user-friendly experiences.Integrate APIs, third-party services and eCommerce platforms.Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and Agile ceremonies.Take ownership of features and proactively identify opportunities to improve code, processes and performance.
What We’re Looking For
Strong professional experience with JavaScript (ES6+).Proven experience working on eCommerce websites.Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar eCommerce platforms is fine.Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and responsive web design.Experience with APIs and asynchronous programming.Confident with Git and Agile development environments.Experience with React and component-based development.Experience with Node.js/Express, automated testing and CI/CD would be advantageous.A pragmatic, quality-focused approach with strong attention to performance and maintainability.
