Senior AI Platform Support Engineer / AI Platform Support Engineer About the Client Our client is a well-established organisation within the Financial Services sector, currently expanding its AI and data capabilities to support a growing portfolio of AI-powered applications, Generative AI (GenAI) solutions, data platforms, and cloud-based services. They are seeking technology professionals who are passionate about AI operations, platform support, and production excellence to join their growing team. Roles & Responsibilities Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for AI applications, GenAI solutions, and platform services, including incident management, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and escalation.Monitor application performance, platform stability, data pipelines, and system availability to ensure reliable day-to-day operations.Support production deployments, release management, change implementation, verification, and rollback activities.Perform patch management, system upgrades, impact assessments, testing, and post-implementation validation.Conduct root cause analysis on production issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.Support AI model lifecycle operations and collaborate with AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and Infrastructure teams.Manage and maintain AI platforms, data lake environments, databases, and cloud infrastructure components.Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve technical issues and drive service improvements.Provide end-user support, system training, and knowledge transfer where required.Maintain operational procedures, support documentation, and knowledge bases.Identify opportunities for automation and leverage AI technologies to improve support processes and operational efficiency.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Engineering, or related disciplines.Minimum 2 years of experience in application support, platform support, cloud operations, or data platform environments.Candidates with 4+ years of experience may be considered for Senior AI Platform Support Engineer positions.Experience supporting enterprise applications, cloud platforms, data platforms, or production environments.Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions is highly preferred.Experience with one or more of the following technologies:Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Alibaba CloudData Platforms: Apache Airflow, Spark, Hive, IcebergDatabases: PostgreSQL, Weaviate, or other Vector DatabasesProgramming: Python, SQL, Bash, JavaScript, TypeScriptContainers & DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, CI/CDMonitoring Tools: Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatchAI Platforms & Tools: MLflow, Ray Serve, DifyKnowledge of DevSecOps, change management, and production support best practices.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience within financial services, banking, insurance, or other regulated environments would be an advantage.Fresh opportunities are available at both Engineer and Senior Engineer levels.
