BAM's Execution Technology team builds microsecond aware systems that form the core of our key business. Our code supports large transactions with microsecond latency in a fault tolerant manner. As ambassadors of leading-edge design and technology, we are inviting an Engineer to join us in shaping the next generation of digital experiences within the Execution Platforms. We are looking for candidates who share a passion for tackling complexity and building platforms that can scale through multiple orders of magnitude. Responsibilities Partner with senior engineers to design high-performance trading algorithms and distributed system componentsRaise the bar through rigorous design and code reviewsOptimize relentlessly — improving efficiency, scalability, and stability across our systemsBridge the gap between technology and the business, collaborating directly with traders, portfolio managers, and risk teams Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience building financial/trading systems in JavaExtensive experience with multi-threaded/concurrency programming with lock-free algorithmsExperience with distributed systems design and developmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsThrives in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with AI-assisted development tools (planning, code generation, testing)Comfortable reading and maintaining systems built in C# Preferred Qualifications Experience programming using low-latency techniques Even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, we'd still love to hear from you—if you're excited about this role, we encourage you to apply!
