About Ace Waves Customer service is being rebuilt from the ground up with the arrival of the latest AI tech. At Ace Waves, we're building an AI agents platform that handles real customer conversations end-to-end for leading consumer brands. Started in stealth, Ace Waves is now a fast-growing startup with strong funding (undisclosed publicly for now) and a growing customer base across Europe. Team’s Purpose The Product & Engineering team builds and maintains the core Ace Waves AI agents platform - from infrastructure to agent orchestration and product innovation. Our co-founders Antanas Bakšys, Ringaudas Kalinauskas, and Lukas Mikuckis - the same founders behind SearchNode, successfully acquired in 2022. Industry veterans and pioneers in agentic AI with a clear ambition for Ace Waves: to become a global top vendor and the next unicorn from Lithuania. As an early team member, you’ll work close to the founders. How We Engineer We're a small team that moves fast and takes on genuinely hard problems. Over the past year we've taken several complex systems from idea to production with just a handful of engineers. Speed and complexity usually trade off against each other; carrying both at once is the bar we set, and the bar we hire for. We write TypeScript, but with the rigor you'd expect in Scala, F#, or Rust. We use the type system to model our domain precisely and make invalid states unrepresentable, so the compiler catches whole classes of errors before they ever run. External data is validated at the boundaries while the core stays clean — immutable by default, no any, no unsafe casts. We also lean heavily on agentic coding for speed. But generating a lot of code quickly only helps if the code stays healthy; otherwise it becomes debt that resurfaces as slower releases and more bugs. So every contribution meets the same standard for architecture and quality — and that discipline is what lets our velocity hold as the system grows, rather than decaying. What You’ll Do Build and maintain Ace Waves platform.Design and implement new platform features.Develop multi-agent architectures and evaluate orchestration strategies for AI-driven workflows.Build and optimize core AI agents handling text, image, and voice interactions.Ensure reliability, observability, and performance. What We Expect You to Bring 4+ years of professional experience delivering production-grade software systems.Comfort working in fast-moving, high-autonomy environments with evolving priorities.Deep sense of ownership - from design and implementation to observability and long-term maintenance.Curiosity and adaptability to learn quickly across new technologies, domains, and product areas. Even Better Experience building AI-powered products.Strong proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and React. Compensation €6,000 – €10,000 gross per month + stock options. Final package depends on experience and level of ownership. Location We are a hybrid team based in Kaunas, and we’re flexible when it comes to candidates based in other cities across Lithuania.
