Full Stack Developer - AI & Emerging Technology

Expertech is partnering with an innovative organisation building next-generation technology and AI capability into its core operations. We're looking for a Full Stack Developer to join a growing R&D team and build practical applications that bring AI, data and emerging technologies to life. This is a hands-on development role where you'll own features end-to-end, from React interfaces through to Node.js/TypeScript services and APIs. You'll work closely with end users to understand real-world workflows and turn emerging technology into tools that genuinely improve how people work.What makes this role particularly interesting is the opportunity to work directly in the AI layer. You'll integrate and work with generative and machine-learning models, build inference and generation workflows, and develop applications that allow users to interact with these technologies in meaningful ways. You'll be joining an R&D environment where experimentation is encouraged, ideas are tested quickly, and successful prototypes are taken through to production. Essential Skills & Experience Strong commercial experience developing full stack web applicationsExcellent TypeScript and Node.js development skillsStrong React experienceSolid experience working with AWSPractical experience integrating AI/ML or generative models into applications, including inference APIs, model serving or generation pipelinesGood understanding of API design and relational databasesAbility to take ownership of features from development through to productionStrong communication skills and a genuine interest in working with end users to understand how technology can improve their workflows Desirable Skills & Experience VisionML / computer visionPython, particularly within ML or data environmentsComfyUI, diffusion models or comparable generative AI toolingExperience building or integrating AI agents, MCP or LLM applicationsDevOps experience, including Docker, CI/CD and infrastructureInfrastructure as Code (IaC/IaaS)3D, WebGL, Three.js or React Three FiberExperience working across Django environmentsExperience with model evaluation, inference pipelines or generation workflowsExperience building technology for users working within fast-paced, deadline-driven environments Why apply?
