Job brief We are seeking a detail-oriented QA & Software Testing Specialist to ensure our software products meet the highest quality standards. You will play a critical role in identifying bugs, optimizing processes, and ensuring a seamless user experience. Working closely with developers and product teams, you will test, validate, and improve software functionality and performance. What is the Role of a QA & Software Testing ? A QA & Software Testing Specialist is responsible for maintaining software quality by identifying and resolving defects in applications. They design test plans, execute test cases, document results, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. This role ensures the reliability, efficiency, and usability of software before release. Responsibilities Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases.Perform manual and automated testing to identify and log bugs.Work closely with development teams to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.Conduct performance, security, usability, and regression testing.Monitor and track reported bugs to ensure resolution before release.Review requirements, specifications, and technical designs to provide timely feedback.Maintain testing documentation and reports for internal use.Participate in software development planning to improve test coverage.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth software delivery. Requirements Proven experience in QA or software testing roles.Strong knowledge of testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies.Proficiency in creating and executing test cases and scenarios.Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium).Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) is a plus.Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
