Context We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer .NET combining hands‑on delivery, technical ownership and product thinking. Work on card payments, payment orchestration, APIs and reusable platform servicesEmpowered model: understand the domain, challenge assumptions, shape solutions with Product, Architecture and stakeholdersWork on payment orchestration and transaction data capabilities that ingest, process and expose transactional data across multiple producers and consumers. Position SCOPE & Key Responsibilities Design and build .NET microservices and REST APIs for payment flowsTranslate business capabilities into service boundaries, contracts and implementation plansModernize legacy .NET into DDD/microservices where relevantShip and operate reliable services: observability, performance, incident/RCAEnsure security by design: auth, secrets, secure APIs, complianceContribute to CI/CD, automated deployments and release qualityMentor engineers and raise engineering standardsUse AI tools responsibly to accelerate delivery (coding, testing, docs, troubleshooting) with human review Required skills & profile Minimum 8 years software engineering experience: Expert in C#, modern .NET (6/8+), ASP.NET CoreStrong track record building RESTful APIs and backend servicesExperience in payments/fintech/banking or other high‑throughput, secure transactional systemsDomain modeling and DDD; microservices or modular monolith experienceClean architecture, SOLID, design patterns; testable design and automated testingRelational and NoSQL databases; data modeling and query optimizationCI/CD and DevOps (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)Application and API security fundamentals (auth, secrets, secure coding)AI‑driven development: Hands‑on use of coding assistants/LLM tools and engineering agents for requirements, coding, refactoring, test generation, documentation and troubleshootingHuman‑in‑the‑loop validation (reviews, tests, quality gates) and awareness of privacy, security and licensing constraintsClear communication in English, strong ownership and pragmatic judgment Nice to have: Azure, Containers/Docker/Kubernetes, messaging and event-driven systems (Azure Service Bus, Kafka or RabbitMQ), card payments and transactions flows and observability tools (Application Insights, Grafana, Datadog).
